With the November elections just around the corner, the Franklin County Consortium for Good Government and the League of Women Voters are sponsoring forums to help you find out what the candidates running for office in Franklin County would do if elected and how the issues on the ballot this fall will impact on your life and your pocketbook if they pass.
This Forum will start with a 6:30 pm reception and followed by candidate races at 7:00 pm.

All Lorain County libraries will be given DVD's of the debate.
Candidates in the 8th district race scheduled to appear are Dough Enyart, Constitution Party; Republican Jason Smith; Democrat Barbara Stocker; and Libertarian Rick Vandeven. For the 147th race, the candidates scheduled to appear are Democrat Gary Gaines; Republican Kathy Swan; and Libertarian Greg Tlapek.

November 4, 2014 ballot.

3. Prospective Appointment of Certain Judicial Vacancies
City council candidates (Adam Bedard, David Brown, Karen Jaeger, Sherri Marie Johnson and Phil Leith) and mayor candidates (Tyler Annette, Mark Steffenson and Jareal Zollicoffer) will speak from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
State Representative 34A candidate Joyce Peppin and 34B candidates David Hoden and Dennis Smith will speak from 7:45 to 8:30 p.m.
