Become a Poll Worker Today

It’s never too early to help democracy! By signing up to be a poll worker, you can ensure that all voters—including voters with disabilities, voters who need language assistance, and voters who want to cast their ballot in person—have a positive experience at the polls. Sign up today!

If you did not sign your absentee ballot envelope, you have until 5 pm on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022, to submit an unsigned ballot statement to local officials to correct (cure) the issue. If you need to correct a signature mismatch, you have until 5 pm two days prior to certification of the election (December 7-8, 2022). Election administrators will contact you via letter, phone, or email if any errors are found with your ballot at least eight days prior to the certification of the election with details and instructions on how to make corrections on time. You may also track the status of your ballot using your state’s online tool. If you voted a provisional ballot, you have the right to find out from your county elections official if your ballot was counted and, if not, the reason why it was rejected.
