Become a Poll Worker Today

It’s never too early to help democracy! By signing up to be a poll worker, you can ensure that all voters—including voters with disabilities, voters who need language assistance, and voters who want to cast their ballot in person—have a positive experience at the polls. Sign up today!

ALERT: Due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) voters do NOT need a witness or notary to sign their absentee ballots for the 2020 election cycle. Voted ballots must be received by 8pm on Election Day in order to be counted. If you are no longer able to vote in person you can still vote using an emergency mail ballot. You can get an emergency mail ballot until 4pm on Election Day, but voted ballots must be returned by 8pm on Election Day in order to count. Finally, if you were unable to register to vote before the October Deadline you can still register to vote on Election Day and vote in the Presidential race only. You can only register to vote on Election Day at your location assigned by your local board of canvassers. For more information on voting, or any updated changes to voting due to COVID-19, please contact your Secretary of State
