Important update for the November 2023 Election! Absentee ballot envelopes submitted by mail or drop box no longer require a witness signature. Voters are now required to include their birthdate and the last four digits of their social security number.

Due to changes in the law, all Florida voters who vote by mail must submit a NEW mail ballot request to their county Supervisor of Elections. Request your mail in ballot today!
The deadline to cure (correct) your absentee ballot is Monday, November 14th, 2022. If the county registrar finds an issue with your submitted photo IDs or supplemental documents, then the county will contact you and provide you with a document for you to submit the necessary ID to verify your ballot. If you do not have photo identification when you go to vote, you will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot which you must cure (correct) by providing proper photo ID to the registrar by November 14th.
Wyoming does not have an absentee/mail ballot curing process. If you voted a provisional ballot, your vote will not be counted unless you provide the required information to confirm your voting eligibility to your county clerk on Election Day or by November 9th, 2022. Questioned ballots are either counted or rejected by November 11th, 2022.
Wisconsin does not have an absentee/mail ballot curing process. We recommend that you track the status of your ballot using your state’s online tool before Election Day to make sure it has been received and accepted. If you voted a provisional ballot, your vote will not be counted unless you provide the required information to the poll workers by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day or the municipal clerk by 4:00 p.m. on November 11th, 2022.
West Virginia does not have an absentee/mail ballot curing process. We recommend that you track the status of your ballot using your state’s online tool before Election Day to make sure it has been received and accepted. The canvassing board will review the information associated with your provisional ballot and will determine whether your vote can be counted during the regular canvassing period, 5 days after the election.
The deadline to cure (correct) your absentee/mail ballot is November 29, 2022. Voters are notified by mail of rejected ballots due to missing/mismatching signature statements. Voters must then sign and return a curing statement or appear at their county clerk's office before the deadline. Three days before certification, the county auditors must attempt to notify voters with outstanding ballots to be cured by phone using the information in the voter registration record.
